Dear Friends,
Today as I write, Spring is all around. Every year it seems like
another miracle. Something about the cycle of the seasons, the church
year, the passage of time, all these remind me of the miracle of
life. I really enjoy singing "This Is The Day", because
it reminds me the day belongs to the Lord and it is a miracle. "Let
us rejoice and be glad in it."
As we get into our
gardens and watch the planting going on in the fields let us remember
to thank the Lord for His blessings and acknowledge our dependence
upon His providence and grace. How easy it is to praise Him when
the sun shines!
This month on Monday
May 5, May 12 and May 19 there will be a Bible Study opportunity.
We will be studying the book John 3:16, The Numbers of Hope
by Max Lucado. We will gather at 5:30 for supper and will begin
our study around 6:00. Please consider joining the group. There
are copies of the book at Family Bookstore, Carpenter's Son and
several on-line sources. If you need a copy and need help obtaining
it let me know. This is a powerful book full of the love of Jesus.
Please invite friends to join us. We will use our Bibles, copies
of the book and short videos Max Lucado recently filmed. Please
let God's word dwell in you.
