The Company President, Gerald Wetli, has over 20 years experience in Tool and Die. In 1981 he received an ASSOC. from Vincennes University in Tool and Die. He went to work for Permonite, which is now Intec in Morocco, IN. In 1982 he went to work for ITW Deltar in Frankfort, IL, for 4 years, andI also went to night school during that time at Purdue Calumet in Hammond, IN and received an ASSOC. in MET. In 1985 he transferred to the West Lafayette campus of Purdue University and received a BS. in MET in 1988. In March of 1989 he began the company Wet-Tech, Inc.
Our Tool Designer started her career with us in 1994 part time as a designer. This was while going to school for CAD. In 1997 she started with us full time upon graduating from college. She continually takes classes to keep her up to date with the industry's technology.
Currently we have two employees who are Wire EDM Machine Experts. They were sent to schooling at Charmilles for one week each. They both have a combination of seven years with Wet-Tech and 10 years experience in the trade.
Currently we have one CNC expert and one CNC trainee. Our expert has approximately four years of experience and the trainee has one years experience.
The average experience for the tool makers in our shop is around ten years each. The combined years of experience for all shop employees is around 50 years
